Getting started
-
What is assisted stretching?
Assisted stretching is a one-to-one session where a certified iFlex Stretch Specialist moves you through stretches you couldn't reach on your own. We use an active style: you gently contract certain muscles during each stretch, drawing on proven methods like PNF, CRAC and MET.
-
What happens at my first visit?
Your Stretch Specialist starts with a quick conversation about your goals and routine, then a multi-point stretch evaluation to find the areas that need the most support. From there, they tailor your stretch and suggest a plan that fits how often you train or move.
-
How much does a first session cost?
New clients can book a 25-minute intro stretch for $29 or a 50-minute intro stretch for $39. After that, pricing is set by each studio, so check your studio's page for its memberships, packages and session rates.
-
Should I book 25 or 50 minutes?
A 25-minute session targets a few specific areas, like hips, hamstrings or shoulders. A 50-minute session is a full-body custom stretch. Many first-timers start with 25 minutes; if you train hard or feel tight all over, go with 50.
-
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, like leggings, joggers or athletic shorts and a t-shirt. Skip jeans, belts and anything restrictive. You'll stay fully clothed for the whole session.
-
Do I have to do anything during the session?
A little. Your Stretch Specialist does the moving, and at certain points asks you to gently push against them for a few seconds before relaxing deeper into the stretch. That active effort is what makes iFlex stretching different from simply lying back.
-
Is the session private?
Yes. Sessions take place on customized stretch beds in a semi-private studio with retractable dividers, and personal locks keep your belongings secure while you stretch.
-
How do I book?
Choose your studio on our Locations page, then tap Schedule Appointment to book online, or call the studio directly. New clients can pick the 25- or 50-minute intro stretch at checkout.
Technology and recovery
-
What is Kinotek?
Kinotek is 3D movement technology that captures how your body moves. Your Stretch Specialist uses it to see where you're limited, personalize your plan and measure your progress over time.
-
What recovery tools does iFlex use?
Alongside hands-on stretching, iFlex studios use Normatec compression, Hypervolt massage and KT taping. Which tools are included depends on your membership and studio.
-
How do I track my progress?
Your Stretch Specialist records your mobility at each visit, so you can see how your range of motion and recovery change over time rather than guessing.
Memberships and pricing
-
What's the difference between a membership and a package?
A membership renews monthly and includes 2, 4 or 8 50-minute sessions (Essential, Advanced or Ultimate Flex), with extra sessions at member rates. A package is a one-time purchase of 2, 4 or 8 sessions (Flex Duo, Core or Max) that expires four months after purchase. See Memberships & Packages.
-
Do prices differ by location?
Yes. Each iFlex studio sets its own pricing, so the rates on your studio's page are the ones that apply.
About iFlex
-
Who are the Stretch Specialists?
Every iFlex Stretch Specialist is certified through iFlex training and trained regularly, so you get the same standard of care at every studio.
-
Who is iFlex for?
EveryBODY. Our clients include athletes, weekend warriors, busy professionals, parents and anyone who wants to keep moving well. No experience or flexibility is needed to start.
-
How often should I get stretched?
Most people get the most from stretching regularly rather than once in a while. Many clients come weekly; athletes and very active clients often come two or more times a week. Your Stretch Specialist will recommend a rhythm that fits your goals.
-
Can assisted stretching help with pain or an injury?
Our Stretch Specialists aren't medical providers and don't diagnose or treat conditions. If you're recovering from an injury or managing a condition, check with your doctor first and let your specialist know, so they can adjust your session to keep it comfortable.
